Default Amp enhancements, additional circuits

Thanks for all of the help. I am so please with my STK4044s. Could never have done it without help. Now that I have power, signal in and wattage to speakers, what additional components, circuits and work is involved to get the most out of it.
Currently I have a wall plug that I insert to power up amps. Probably a better way to go about this. Speaker delay, power switch. What about capcitor value on supply. I currently have 6800uF. 10 000uF was reccommended to me. What characteristics will be affected by Supply capacitor values?
Thanks again for the awesome amplifier.
