Any opinions on this? I was thinking that one of these per driver would make a nice amplifier setup for my studio monitors but I am not familiar with the design or components
The STK hybrid ICs are OK, if you get genuine ones from Sanyo (old) or from ONSemi (new). The application circuit is a bit more complex than the typical chip amp's, which means that you also have more possibilities to tweak it to your liking. And they are much easier to heatsink than chip amps.
