STK4141II compatibity

Hey guys.
I'm looking for chips that is compatible with the STK4141II
Now as far as I can see, it would appear that this is not an original Sanyo chip? I might be mistaken.

I can get stock of the STK4141V, but with the info I gathered they are not pin to pin compatible. Would have been awesome though. the V version is 0.08% THD, where the II version is 0.4%

More about the project.
In 1982, my dad bought an Akai hifi (AM-M10)
I grew up with this thing, and this is what got me into turn tables, and music in general. After I left the house, this went to my little brother. (swotting for electronic engineer at varsity)

Now it no longer works. They wanted to dump it, but I came to the rescue. Too much sentiment to send this to the junk yard.

Any help will be appreciated!

this a 5 euro or usd IC can be found everywhere and i think that 4142 is also compatible
Recap the all amplifier also very critical

Recap is is the pipeline as well. I noticed that even though this is a Japanese made hifi, the majority of caps are cheap Chinese ones. I will replace them all with Hitano, and those in the signal path with LOW ESR caps. Also bigger caps on the psu. The amp is 25W with the original STK. The small caps should be fine, but a nice reserve never did any harm (unless you put a fully charged bank of 8 x 10K uf 63v per rail on your naked leg. that hurts)

PS, I'm from South Africa, and stock is not easily obtainable here. Will scan ebay and the likes.
