Lepai leave on?

No avail switched ac on Samsung flat screen or cable box - so no remote power control for Lepai. Think any harm in leaving this Lepai 2020a+ on all the time?

12 volt will come out of pin 8 on the cable box scart connection .. if it has one. use it to trigger a relay..

Unlikely.. but the lo quality components may not have an infinite service life. On the other hand it's so cheap to buy that no one should care.
Does make me marvel at the level of sloth involved that won't push a button :-)
