Replace the LED's with one of these,

10 segment led bargraph - Google Search

and use a small length of ribbon cable or some 30Ga.WireWrap hook up wire to make an umbilical cord type of cable cable to the display.
Use standard 20pin IC socket to solder to, so that you don't risk over heating the display while you are soldering the connections.
Add then just plug the display in to the socket or you can make a little board to mount the socket on and mount it to the chassis via mounting holes in the display board.

jer :)

You can reduce the built in bass blocker by changing the NFB cap from 22u to 220u and changing the bootstrap cap from 22u to 47u. If this doesn't make super low notes clear, change the 680R feedback-shunt and the 22k feedback resistor to higher values like 1.8k, 47k or even higher. If the amplifier is non-inverting, you won't have to change any other parts to do this. See the datasheet notes section for more information about bass.
With the bass blockers removed, now turning up the bass will do more than just boom--you'll have some thunder too.

thank you for what is given ......!!!!!
yesterday I've tried to figure this pcb but there are constraints
1. utility power and make noise on my tranformer
2. on the two resistors 2k2 5w, two 12v zener that what it means?
3. A number used kiprok
I apologize for Indonesian people who can not speak english

armastes [translation: "big mess"] already.
Consider that this particular power op-amp will run better if set to low gain.
If the tone amp section can provide some gain, and if the TDA7294 is switched over to hi-fi design instead of datasheet example, then the tone amp is not reducing system quality. It is, perhaps, a "break-even" prospect. This idea could be upgraded to hi-fi if a "tone cancel/bypass" switch were added to allow the preamp to be used without the tone processing.
