I have had my 4780 kit up and running for 2 years, maybe even 3 now!
Its working great and sounds great too..... However for some strange reason every now n then it will give out a loud annoying buzz... Its a deep bass hum but not real bassie... It remains at the same volume no matter where my volume pot is positioned and it can be clearly heard over anything playing.
I have looked over the boards and cannot find any loose or unsoldered parts or wires, and all my grounding seems solid and secure via a nut and bolt with a star washer.
Not sure if i should strip it all down from enclosure and rebuild or if there may be an easier explanation... Anyone else had this and got a clue on how to solve it.
LM4780 from Audiosector, 300VA 2 x 22 volt toriod, outputting into 120 watt RMS JVC 8ohm speakers. When it works it works well.
