I don't see why someone would fake TDA2030 as they are cheap as dirt and very common. ... they are worth only about $0.30 each so I don't see how a counterfiter could make any money.

I have bought several TDA chips with simular writing and package so I'm sure they aren't fakes.

"please do not gabfest no surmise!"

The greatest sentence [sic] ever posted on any forum?

No need to apologize for your English given your incredible gift for rude poetry.

What is this term "Gabfest" - it's not in the English dictionary.

Not nervous. No intention to condescend either. I suspect a translation of a colloquial or idiomatic expression.

K.D.:
Granted, it's Yankee slang, but it is in the O.E.D. (First record 1897.)

"A gathering for talk; a spell of talking; a prolonged conference or conversation"

"gabfest, n.". OED Online. September 2012. Oxford University Press. Home : Oxford English Dictionary (accessed October 28, 2012).

(Sorry that you need a subscription for this, but I thought I would cite properly.)
