Default radioshack system 11 sta-111 receiver

Hi, my imbecile brother took my STA-111 receiver and my minimus 7 speakers. The receiver worked fine up to that time. I had a look at how he had hooked it up, and noticed that he had crossed both pairs of speaker wires together. What does this do to the amp, and is there an easy repair, or should I trash it?

First step, fix the hookup. Second step look for fuses.
That one has a 2.5a rated little glass fuse in it. Hopefully it has worked.

Thanks for the help. I'll have another look at the fuses, but they didn't look blown to me. If the fuses are o.k., is there something else I can do? Or do I have to send it to the dump?

Does the radio work and the lights come on?
