The setup I have so far.....
240v supply to my PSU case. The case is grounded to mains ground. The PSU feeds an amp enclosure via a 4 pin din type connector. The four pin connector carries +25v, -25v, two 0v and the the main earth.
The amp enclosure has a Star Power Ground connected to the main ground via a 10ohm resistor and two back to back diodes. The Star Audio Ground is connected to the Star Power Ground via another 10 ohm resistor in parallel with two back to back diodes.
Everything works fine, no hum, ground loop etc, but if I were to build a pre-amp/DAC in a separate enclosure, what would I do with the Power and Audio grounds in this enclosure?
