you can start with the simplest one like LM3875/LM3886 called gainclones. you can also look for amp kits from Aussie amplifiers, HDamps.com etc,etc. the list is way big to name. also you have to know what class of amp you are looking for like class A, class B, class A/B, Class D etc etc... Also know at least tha basic in electronics and always to be safe since you will be working with live voltages:eek: Are you ready for that?:confused:
 
A well designed 150 watt amplifier will require require good knowledge of circuit layout for stability. It would need around +/- 55 volt rails (110 volts!) to produce a clean sine wave into an 8 ohm load.

If you want to learn, start on simple IC amps and learn how amplifiers are constructed.

BTW, the amplifier schematic shown will probably do no better than 12 watts into 4 Ohm load or 8 into 8 Ohms (before clipping).
