Gain-clone works on 12v

I have built a LM1875 that runs on 12V. At merely 12V, you can easily bridge the output of two LM1875, even into 4 ohms. This also eliminates the need for an output coupling (DC blocking) capacitor, normally needed for any single supply power amp.

If you power it from car's electrical with the engine running, it will be more like 14V, and that little extra voltage can make a big difference.

Is there any PCB for that?
 
The TDA2050 will give you about 2-3 extra watts because it can swing closer to the rails than an LM1875. Still, these ICs that can have up to a 50 to 60 supply voltage are not optimized for output swing like the BTL chips that are meant for low voltage car stereo use. TDA1558Q and newer ICs give you two BTL amps in one package and need minimal parts thanks to fixed gain and modern design.
