I'm planning to build a TDA7293 amp for my music studio (to amplify keyboard, some mics, acoustic guitar). The idea is to use 6 chips, 2 pairs in bridge and rest 2 chips in single configuration. Have 600VA toroid laying around with 2x24V 2x12.5A AC. Here's the questions:
- Is that toroid sufficient to power 6 chips? - Where to put rail fuses? On each rail of power supply output or pair on every single chip power inputs? What is the rating of fuses need for this application? Hope someone can help.

That toroid is big enough to power 6 channels. The voltage may be a bit high for bridging, at least if you don't happen to have 16 Ohm speakers.
Using a pair of fuses per amp makes it easier to find which amp is faulty, if that case occurs. But you have to make sure that the combined fuse rating does not surpass 12,5 A. Otherwise you will need a 12,5 A main fuse before all the others that protects the transformer from overload. The fuse rating for each channel depends on the use. 2-3 A should normally be sufficient, 4 A is the maximum. Start small and work yourself upwards, if you face convenience blowing.
