Default MY TECHNICS SA-5551 "GAINCLONE"

Hi all. I want to show a "gem" that I built, based on a chassis of Technics SA-5551 and based circuits LM3886 and preamplifiers circuits Rod Elliot. Each day a photo and show the steps of construction. Greetings José

Thank you very much for the compliments. no eletronic component is original.Was based on a TECHNICS "VINTAGE" THE YEAR 1975IN VERY GOOD CONDITION OUTSIDE, BUT WITH DEFECTIVE ELECTRONIC (AT THE TIME WAS 130 WATTS P / CH).Were dropped ALL ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS, LEAVING ONLY THE CHASSIS, ALUMINUM FRONT, POTENTIOMETERS (Matsushita / Panasonics), selector switches, BACKLIT DIAL, THE KEY ON-OFF, BACK WITH ALL FITTINGS, DECK SUPERIOR, TO WHICH IS BLACK VINYL BAG THAT POSSESS THE FACTORY AND YOUR replaced by LAMINATED WOOD, LUSTRÁNDOSE.-BE BUILT: THE PHONO PREAMP WITH COMPONENTS OF HIGH QUALITY ROD CIRCUIT BASED ON MODIFIED ELLIOT PCB FOR EACH CHANNEL USING A BURR-BROWN OPA2134 (AT CHANNEL ORIGINAL shared the RL-INTEGRATED) JUMPS THROUGH WITH VARIABLE GAIN Internal (40-56-60dB) which allows the use of capsules COIL AND MAGNET MOBILE;**********************************THE PREAMP LINE IS ALSO BASED ON CIRCUIT IN MODIFIED ELLIOT ROD PCB;***********************************SELECTION OF AUDIO IN A BANK IS BASED ON LOCATION OF 6 RELAYS WITH YOUR BACK TO MINIMIZE THE WIRING CONNECTORS, ELECTRICALLY CONTROLLED WITH ORIGINAL KEY IN THE FRONT;***********************************POWER AMPLIFIER INTEGRATED IS BUILT WITH TWO LM3886TF, USED FOR THEIR BRANDS HI-END ultra high performance (AUDIO ANALOGUE VERDI; JEFF ROWLAND, CAMBRIDGE AUDIO, AP-2410 JATON A operetta, EG.). Looks like you used LEDs for dial backlighting? You may want to make some diffusors for those.

Fiend. By the time the photo ralicé, the backlight was with incandescent lamps of 6.3v. Then I replaced the tape with embedded LEDs. Currently the lighting is more even and whiter. Greetings, Jose.
