I digged out my TA2020 eval board, changed the input caps, run on a Yasua 12V accu (didn't have any PSU available), and surprise: as good as LM3886, if not better. Power is fairly weak though...

Next time, I'll try the Hypex Ncore NC400, when they are available again...
It is worth to keep your mouth shut and let people think you’re stupid; rather than to open it and thus eliminate any doubts...
