Since I like the sound of Soundsticks - sub is on the desk with some damping underneath for better bass control and input coming from decent USB DAC (made incredible difference) I thought why not try modify it?
What about idea of getting that amp out and putting it in separate box together with decent power supply? Brick coming with it rated at 16V 1.5A is just mediocre. Some pictures: http://i41.tinypic.com/1tviw7.jpg http://i39.tinypic.com/29m3nd2.jpg http://i44.tinypic.com/350m25x.jpg Thanks. |

Why take it apart? If the power supply is external, just replace it.
