AFAIK, chip manufacturers are not supplying samples anymore.

Why not just buy them from DigiKey?

Digi-Key - AD823ANZ-ND (Manufacturer - AD823ANZ)

They're like 6 bucks...

From what I here there was a lot of sample requests from shill email addresses that ended up on ebay.

that's call abuse and certainly a disgrace to the audio community.
am sure there will be ways to stop the abuse.
