Today I was leafling some old The Audio Amateur issues, and I found an interesting car amplifier project by T. Giesberts, apparently reprinted from a March '95 Elektor Electronics.
The amp uses a TDA1560Q Philips chip, and delivers 30W @ 8ohms with 0.5% THD, which is quite good, I'd say, for a 12v car power feed. Does anyone know if there's any kit for that Elektor project on sale anywhere, preferably eBay? |

Hi calmart.
I would look at the data sheet again. if you want 30watts out of this thing you willbe looking at more like 10% THD |

Yes, it's quite likely. I am just repeating the info that was on the TAA article.
The question still goes: is there a kit anywhere using this chip? |
