Default MyRefC - Listening impressions

I completed my MyRefC the back end of January this year. Still going strong and still reproducing music as it was recorded which can be quite painful at times - totally unforgiving which I suppose is what you want - not the amps fault that whoever produced some albums didn't have musicality as a priority!! However, with the right music this amp is wonderful, just listening to Someone like You by Adele with the piano in the background echoing around the room. Credit to Mario and Uriah for allowing people like myself the opportunity to build and then listen to the outcome of their endeavours - brilliant!! Regards, Mark

Hi markblun,

It is indeed a special amp. Just wanted to mention a couple things - Have you fed your system with uncompressed files (Apple loss-less or Flac) through a good DAC/computer? Cleans up a lot.

And are you watching the http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/chip-...ml#post2836977 thread? Some good stuff going on there.
