Maybe you can 5x tda2040 satellite and tda2050or51 bridge for woofer

The TDA2050 has higher current capability than the 2040 but this latter has lower distorsion as well as lower max PS voltage , so the whole circuit has to be supplied accordingly with a transformer that is about 2 X 12 V AC while not exceding 2 X 13V AC. Using only TDA2050s for all channels allow for a 2 X 14V AC transformer. Personnaly , i would opt for the first solution , 2 X 12V AC xformer , 5 X TDA2040 + 2 X TDA 2050 bridged. |
