I've got a LM4780 that I want to run a pair of 8 Ohm woofers from. How am I best doing it?
1) I can parallel wire the woofers (=4R) and also parallel the amp channels.
2) Series wire the woofers (=16R) and bridge the amp channels.
3) Run one channel per woofer (8R).
Will I have less heat to dissipate from the chip by using option 2 or 3? More voltage, less current for the same power.
