Default z680 - No Audio out - Control Pod cause...

A couple of weeks ago my faithful z680's stopped working... I'm no longer getting any audio out of the speakers...

It doesn't matter if I use Analogue or Optical or front Aux Analogue in... still no output...

The control pod seems a bit slower to respond to switch between inputs...

The speakers are still fine as I have tested "injecting" audio straight in via the pins where the cable connects inside the pod... and i got audio out of the relevant speakers...

I've tested the points on the PCBs for the control pod where it specifies the voltages (5v, 3.3v) and they were all fine... I've also tested the points where the cable comes into the PCB where it was +18v and -18v and +8v and they are all fine...

So I'm not sure... any suggestions?? Any suggestions as to what could be wrong with the control pod?
