Default Amp for passive subwoofer

Hi, Im new in this forum, but not complete new in electronics.

I got passive subwoofer (24-25W). Maybe some of you guys have DIY aplifier schematics wicth would fit for this subwoofer? Or any ideas how to power it on?

Hi!
You can use LM1875 or TDA2050. Take a look datasheets of the IC's with schematics and PCB.

I will go with tda2050. On schematics in datasheet I should add low pass filter, right?

If you want sub out of your sub, you should
Can be a very simple passive or slightly more complicated active filter.

I believe he means that if you want your sub to sound like a sub you would need a low pass filter ......

I think I would upgrade the sub to something > 25W, long before going to the trouble of building a custom amp for it.
