I use to be in the electronics industry hand and foot. I always wanted to make powerful amp that SoUnds good. I know how to make pcb's. I know how to trouble shoot. I want a good PCB layout for a BPA 200. I have most of the parts for it. Help this newbie out. Please. Oh, schematic would help. I have the one for the PCB AN-1192. I have decent power supply skills. I just want to get my feet wet again.
Thanks. Audioenthusiast2012 Last edited by Audioenthusiast2012; 17th September 2011 at 12:07 AM. |

Here's something similar. Keep in mind those power ratings are load related. In a recent LM3886 x 3 project I learned the sheer output volume with an 8 ohm speaker was about the same as a single chip. I'm not sure if that applies to all the multiple LM3886 designs, but it certainly was true in my builds. 300W Mono LM3886 X 4 + NE5532 POWER AMPLIFIER KIT | eBay

It is true for parallel amps. Bridged amps will give you higher output power.

pacificblue,
Are you aware of any proven bridged LM3886 designs other than the Shine 7 BPA-300 type? Something that bridges the chips on one board.
