![]() This circuit is a circuit-watt amplifier size at a reasonable 22W 22W. This is the mod is perfect for listening at home or in any vehicle. Is a simple circuit. Use small pieces of equipment and an IC. Is only one number TDA1554Q. And within a short-circuit protection circuit with the output. Principle of the circuit is. Circuit to receive input on each channel C1 and C2. This will signal coupling or filter out specific signal only The left channel input signal as the right to work. So I explained just left alone. Signal to pass from C1 to the Pin 1 and pin 2 of IC1. This position will stand a horizontal leg inverter protest Amplifiers not to phase out the output pin 6. And the second leg is the leg position in a power amplifier to phase Ting..........Read more |

Why do I suspect your post is just to try to get people to go to your website with advertising on it?
Also since vehicle use was mentioned, within a vehicle electrical system (per the datasheet at 13.2V) it is only 2 x 172W, not 22W at 10% THD, 2 x 12W at 0.5% THD. This isn't much better than many factory stereos so I do not see a compelling reason to build one for that purpose. It is also a bit anemic for home use, except perhaps to drive a small bookshelf speaker system or computer desktop speakers. |

is there a simple project on here, or a small affordable stereo amp you would recommend? |

thegnu, there are lots of options considering the small speaker size and small room area. It depends on budget, whether you want to built it yourself, how much time to spend, etc. Even the higher powered chipamps using LM3886/etc, mainly cost more because they are built to a higher output power but could be built with smaller power supply, lesser heatsink needed, bringing cost down.
What about a regular bookshelf stereo receiver? That'll give you an aux input, front panel display, remote control, AM/FM radio tuner and maybe even a CD player and can be had cheap as used equipment on ebay (they are often sold cheap with a broken CD Changer). Other Brands | eBay OR, you could build something like the typical application circuit in a LM4752 datasheet, or a pre-made class D or T amp board off ebay, or a kit to make one, or there might be something suitable in the DIYAudio swap meet forum, Swap Meet - diyAudio Otherwise, just browse the chipamp forum topics as there are several low(er) cost, low powered projects, most of which are more alike than different (chipamp is somewhat modular, same basic components with minor changes for several different chips people use. As for something inexpensive, new, and ready to use, you might seek "TA2020" on ebay, < $30 for amp in case with knobs/jacks/switches/power supply/ etc... it'd cost more than that to build it yourself unless you had a lot of applicable parts lying around. TA2020 | eBay These options aren't exactly in the spirit of the forum though, one popular DIY build choice might be LM1876 (search the chipamp forum and you'll get a bunch of hits). wow. thanks for all the info. i just moved, and am in school, so going with the $25 option from ebay may be the best thing for now, but i will check out the other options as well.
thanks for an informative and excellent reply.

Keep in mind that some of the $25 amps on ebay might not come with a power supply or might not clarify that you need one.

yessir. as a matter of fact, i bid on one of those, before i realized my mistake. :/ i probably have a suitable psu for it, anyway, but it's still irritating. oh, well.
