cartridge impedance effect with phonocube or clone
Hello all!
New to this site but have been around analogue audio a long time. I'm intrigued by the 47 Labs Phonocube and its successors. I'm currently using a Sumiko Blackbird cartridge, which has internal resistance of +/- 135 ohms. Will it work with the current amplifier phono stages? If you tried a high resistance cart what was your experience? I'm keen enough to go the phonocube route that I will buy another cart if necessary. It would have to cost less than a decent used car! The Dynavector X20XL looks like it might have possibilities. I welcome your comments. Cheers, Al
