Hi all,
just having a close look at some spare 6x LM3886 chips i bought on ebay. They are have a different code printed on them, marked PM94AN, PM94AG, PM94AK. The ones i have already are marked JM09BHE3. Whats the deal here, can anyone tell from the codes if they are inferior production lines? rick |

Not to worry. Those are probably just manufacturers' codes for date, batch, location, etc. A company's internal part number, in a sense.

The observation that they are all different confirms that they are genuine or from four completely independent fakers.

^ or the fakers now have internet access so they can read about how their fakes are identified and make the necessary changes. Granted most of them wouldn't, but of all things to change the stamp on it would be one of the easiest and cheapest.
