Iv got an old autotek 7600 bts. this is my first audio system so i really need some help! my dad had this amp a while back and its sat for years and he would really like to see me use it. so i will. or il attempt to. here's the specs on the amp.
Output power at 11.5 to 14.4V: 2 x 300W @ 4 ohms (0.015% THD) 2 x 600W @ 2 ohms (0.15% THD) 1 x 600W @ 8 ohms bridged (0.015% THD) 1 x 900W @ 4 ohms bridged (0.15% THD) 1 x 1100W @ 4 ohms bridged (0.5% THD) i figured 2x 600w @ 2 ohms sounded good for the 2 kicker cvr12s that the amp will be pushing. now does that mean both subs will get 600 watts each sub, or will it be split into 300 watts each sub? and will that wattage be mostly constant? amp plug wiring. i read somewhere that its like this. ( the outputs are all on a molex plug). the outputs include a yellow, blue, green, white, these are the speaker wires. in the middle there is a orange remote. (lookin at where the wires come out) upper left=yellow- empty upper right=white- lower left=blue+ remote orange lower right=green + ^ thats how the plug is set up. + and - i hope are correct. i talked to a forum-er who said the above is correct in polarity, maybe someone can confirm it for me? now how would i go about wiring to accomplish the 600watts per sub? like this; http://a248.e.akamai.net/pix.crutchf..._2-ohm_2ch.jpg this: http://a248.e.akamai.net/pix.crutchf...ch-low-imp.jpg or this; http://a248.e.akamai.net/pix.crutchf..._4-ohm_2ch.jpg ---- im getting all these diagrams from-- Subwoofer Wiring Diagrams Anyone who can help me out please do! i will greatly appreciate it. thank you for your time, bradyc.
