Hi, everyone!
I just found a dead simple schematic for a LM386-based amp - http://www.beavisaudio.com/library/LM386/Smokey_Amp_Schematic.jpg - and was wondering if instead of connecting a speaker to it, I could connect an amp to it and use it as a preamp for a guitar?
If not, can you suggest me any simple schematic for a guitar/bass preamp?
thanks

before you ask, i enterd into google the following keywords:
opamp preamp circuit.
hapy building.
go for split supply at your first prototype, 2 9v batteries in series should be more than enough.
