I recently purchased a chipamp from chipamp.com and assimbled it. I am using a 25x2 transformer and when I am running the amp I can hear the transformer buzzing. If I touch the transformer I can feel it vibrating. Is this normal?
Also the traces going to the LED burned off when I plugged it in, so the LED does not work. I have double and triple checked my connections and cant seem to figure out what I have done wrong. The amp works great besides these few issues and sounds great. Here is how I have the leads going to the power supply |--- 25 --> AC1 with the line over it |--- 0 --> AC1 |--- 25 --> AC2 with line over it |--- 0 --> AC2 Please let me know what you think. |

Can you post some photos please?
Are you using the chipamp.com (BrianGT) boards? Have you installed your diodes correctly? It sounds like there is a short circuit causing the transformer to draw a lot of current and therefore vibrate as the magnetic field fluctuates. |

just be carfull not to pop your caps
If your power supply voltage is exceeding the "WV__ " working voltage maximum is labeled right on your filter caps... grab your meter and check OK
