I have a Behringer GMX212 V-Tone guitar amp which uses a 2 x LM3886T power amp (stereo). There is no output on either of the chips. I eventually replaced both chips. There is still no output. I cannot find a circuit diagram for the Behringer amp so I searched for LM3886T application ccts. I injected a signal at pin 10 (input) but get nothing at pin 3 (output). No components measures strange. Supply voltage is -36v, 0v, +36v. Anybody that can help? What function will pin 8 (mute) have in this application?

Hi,
with mute pin inactive the power amp will not amplify. You must sink current from the mute pin to turn on the amplifier. Datasheet shows how much.
