Hey guys, I'm pretty new to the DIY audio scene. I'm building a carputer to control audio/video in my car and have to make an amp to amplify the motherboard outputs. I'd like to get 4 channels at 100w rms. I was thinking about building a pair of 41hz Amp10s based on tripath 2022 chips, but it requires 35v input. Unfortunately, in a car environment, we are limited to 12v DC. What're would be the best solution for boosting voltage? Is there a better option than Amp10 to get 4x100 rms watts? I'd rather not just go buy an external amp cause I need to integrate this into the computer case (small space). Thanks in advance!

You have three options in a car. A single ended amp will give something like 4-5 W into 4 Ohm, a BTL amp will give something like 16-20 W into 4 Ohm and the third option is to use a DC/DC converter that steps up the voltage. That last thing is pretty much an SMPS and commercial amps contain it for high output power. You should find such a thing in electronic stores.
