I have small 1W amplifier based on TDA2822 which I am going to run of 3V and use as a headphone amplifier. Now, the input is going to be from an electric guitar which is mono. What would be the correct way to modify the attached schematic to accept mono source and have the output (mono) but both channels in the headphones?
TDA2822 amp schematic Thanks |

Anyone? Morning crew?
Can I just modify the circuit to use only one channel on the input and then split one channel on the output into two going to headphones? |

I would just join IN1 and IN2 together, and feed your guitar into there. Then you could feed each headphone driver with each channel of the amp.
Are you sure there's enough gain? Guitar output signals are fairly low. |

Thanks for replying.
I already have the board with TDA2822 assembled so I can test to see if it has enough gain. If not, I will go with a different chip. |
