Default High power gainclones?

Are there any high power gainclone variants out there (meaning more than 100 wpc into 8 ohms)?

No,
there are National approved combination implementations that allow the extra current to be supplied to inappropriate loads that a chip amp was never designed for.

Why do National publish these BA, PA and BPA implementations?
I'd suggest to sell many more chips.

You would do far better to look at a better National product for higher powers and lower load impedances. The LME498xx series of driver chips with discrete output devices.

Can't you use the chip amp to drive a output stage composed of say MJ15024 and MJ15025's? and have the output stage running off a higher voltage?
I would think this would work and would save the complexity of a paralled bridged chip amp setup.

LME49811, LME49830 are specially designed OPAMPs to drive discrete output stage.
