Default LM3875TF lot number

I'm installing a pair I got as a kit and I've discovered my two chips have different lot numbers. One is JM79AB, the other JM91ABE3. I look on ebay and I see different vendors showing a pair of LM3875s in their listing's photo, and they two are mismatched. I guess matched lot numbers do not matter? Are they even available?

you'd probably get matched lot numbers if you bought from a big supplier, but to be honest it doesnt matter one bit.

Years ago at my day job, we discovered a manufacturing defect with a power semi-conductor device. But things got complicated when we found out that the date code was added when they sold the device not when it was mfg. When they made them they just put them in the bin randomly.

I would get worried if different suppliers had stock with the same batch number, particularly if the source was an unofficial retailer.
