Soldering wire to pots thru PCB?

I always have a trouble soldering wires to small pots. Just recently I have acquired stereo pots that have very small pins. Do you guys know of any places that sell PCBs that would allow me to solder the pot onto the PCB and then wires (but not directly to the pot).

You could certainly improvise something, as pacificblue suggests.

Thanks to all who replied. Forgot to mention that those are Alps 09 type pots so the hifidiy.net board will not fit. But this is exactly something that I am looking for. Just need a size smaller.

Just use a Piece of Blank PCB material and either etch or grind the traces into it ......

That's a clever idea. I actually had to click on the link to get the whole picture. Couldn't figure out what's going on from the two pictures you have posted

Especially on older, well-built gear the wires are fastened very securely before soldering. I've broken a few solder lugs and lugs on tube sockets trying to 'unsolder' components- now I use the wire spiral trick.

Since this is DIY board, I guess that's how I should do it. Unfortunately, I would spend more time and money since I have nothing that would allow me to etch PCBs.

I found this item on Ebay. Fits my pot and comes down to little over $1 a PCB.
