You may get more response in the car audio forum.

Send me an email address and I'll forward a copy of the manual in .pdf.

A/D/S used Sanyo STK series "Power Pack" chips in the P120 and P80. They are still out there, I need an STK0029 myself and have found it in a couple of places.

Standard switching power supply uses bipolars, and there's nothing unusual inside.

Oh, and the P80 was mid-1980's.

Funny - I just grabbed two of those out of storage. 20th Anniversary Models from probably 1989? model P2110.2 PowerPlate and a P640.2 Powerplate. They are perfect. I haven't cracked them open, but I still think of them as the last high-end 12V amps. After a/d/s came all the crap stuff with outputs ;listed 4X what they actually were, followed by Capacitors and extra Batteries, and now you've got 2-3 yrs of working, whereas these a/d/s amps worked and were used from 1989 to 2004, and even cosmetically look like NIB.
