i just got my boards in for my gainclone project, and i threw one together, and i measured the voltage and got 35V. this seems really high. im using a 24V transformer.
i an unable to get it to play anything at the moment either. it can hum, but thats it. no music comes though it. any ideas anyone? im using peter's schematic, and i have gotten two of these to work previously, but since then, i have built 3, and none of them work? are the transformers too high of voltage?

Cowanrg - are you using a transformer with 24V secondaries? If so your rail voltage will be around 35V! (Secondary voltage X 1.414)
