Bridging a TDA8560q

Hi guys
I'm kinda new to this audio stuff (basically playing with chipamps now).
I have a tda8560q and it sounds pretty nice. I read the datasheet, which said that there are two identical amplifiers in the chip and it can be used for bridging purposes.
I'm currently using it as a mono amplifier, the second channel is sitting unconnected.
How can i bridge it to get one but more powerful channel?

p.s i'm powering the chip with a switching psu, it has enough power to run both channels nicely.

Also a probably very stupid question. Can i chain two power amps? For example running the input in tda8560 and feeding that to the input of a tda7296. I'm quite sure that i can't and the second amp will die, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Each channel of the TDA is already internally a BTL amp. You cannot bridge them again. For more output power you need higher supply voltage. If you already make use of the highest possible supply voltage, you need a different amp to increase the power output.

Another option is to use more efficient speakers with the amp you have.

You can chain two power amps, if you put an adequate voltage divider between them so the second amp is not overdriven. That is basically what is behind the High Level Inputs of subwoofer or car amps. The output powers do however not add up, if that is what you hope for.
