I've seen many 3886 boards, none of them had opamps that I was aware of. There is one on ebay that has the NE5532 onboard.
Why would it be there? Effect on sound? Thanks! |

There are two reasons I can think of for putting an op-amp on an LM3886 board. An input buffer or a servo.

the opamp + the chipamp could be arranged as a composite opamp.
