I`ve just completed my first Gainclone, it`s now "safely" housed in a metal case. Sound quality is good. For signal paths I`ve used thin, single copper core wire, removed from telephone cable. As the case is quite small, the cable lengths are all under 150 mm, but they all quite close to each other. Should I be useing shielded cable or should I twist the signal wire with signal GND ? At the moment I get very little hum and very little crosstalk (I`ve go two inputs, selected with a rotary switch). I`ll try to borrow a camera so that I can post a few pictures of my efforts.

Hi Prof - I think that Jens answered this question in the thread 'Twisting wires'. It sounds like your circuit wiring is OK from what you describe though.
Pictures? Don't forget the Gainclone Gallery
