tda 1514a 220 pf capacitor

Hi evryone,
as per the datasheet of tda 1514, is the 220 pf cap at the input is necessary?can i skip it or any other subtitute values??

Keep it. It's there to help keep RF (Radio Frequency) energy out of your amplifier.

You "could" try different values. Lower values would let in more RF, which you probably don't want. Much higher values would let less RF in but would also eventually cause noticable attenuation of the upper end of the audio band, which you probably don't want, and higher values than that would attenuate even more of the audio band, which you probably don't want.
