hi,
i finished making amp based on tda 7375 ic.can anyone help regarding pin no 7 in ic which is ST-by and about its connections etc?????

STAND-BY DRIVING (pin 7)
Some precautions have to be taken in the defini-
tion of stand-by driving networks: pin 7 cannot be
directly driven by a voltage source whose current
capability is higher than 5mA. In practical cases
a series resistance has always to be inserted,
having it the double purpose of limiting the cur-
rent at pin 7 and to smooth down the stand-by
ON/OFF transitions - in combination with a ca-
pacitor - for output pop prevention.
In any case, a capacitor of at least 100nF from
pin 7 to S-GND, with no resistance in between, is
necessary to ensure correct turn-on.

Check datasheet. So As you can see, the capacitor goes to ground and to st-by. it means that you have to add st-by pin to positive voltage rail.
Using 10K resistor of course

As I told you, for "minimal-amp" use 10k resistor from stand by pin to positive voltage rail (+). To be sure that there are no any pops, use 10uF capacitor as in schematics. You cant bypass that pin

hello friend..i try to built the circuit without using standby pin...its not working...whelther it is necessary to connect the pin pin 7 to supply voltage using 10k resistor?
