I am a noob in PA assembly. I have 2 crown 15" speakers and 2 12" speakers and 550w pioneer amp, I notice that when I use both speakers in my amplifier the 12" speakers does not sound loud anymore. So I am planning to purchase a new amplifier anyone can give me an advice what should I buy?
I am looking for budget friendly ones. Anyone heard about Konzert amplifiers? Is there a filipino here who can help me what type should I buy? I am also planning to buy sub woofers in the future. The amplifier that I should buy should also be capable of making the subwoofers work. Should the amplifier has to have a separate output for subs? or is it ok to just connect it where the speakers output? Thanks in advance |

is it public address and sound reinforcement you are doing, or is it a loud domestic system for reproducing ready recorded music and sound effects?
The answers you get for these scenarios are quite different.

Not intended for rentals, just for home and sometimes small family party or videoke, I am using my pc in playing music. I already have 2x15" (not powered) plastic loud speakers and 2x12" (not powered) wooden box speakers, currently using a 600w pioneer amp w/ it and I believe its already over powered also I do have another 200w amplifier. I am planning to buy a pair of sub woofers for added bass. What equipments do I need to buy? Just the basic set up. I am a noob to this...

you have two 15inch and two 12inch drivers.
You don't need more bass drivers. It Mid range driver and treble range driver that you need to add.

PA drivers aren't designed to go low. He may not need more bass drivers, but he may need subbass drivers.

Yes but he's using PA speakers. Depending on his listening preferences, he may like some sub-bass. If he said he wants some subwoofers, he probably has a reason why.
