Huzzah! It's now outputting a clean 14.76 or so volts! Unfortunately, I just get a buzzing noise when the amplifier's on, even with a source plugged in and running. The amp I'm using is QKit's K50. Schematics and specifications can be found here.

Raffir, according to those notes, the amp should have a PSU with +/- 25 volts! How have you got 14.76 volts and do you mean that you have +/- 14.76 volts?

Yes that should be enough voltage to get you running. I think that Matttcattt is running his GC on the same supply.

Raffir,

I suppose you only have one transformer and my coments are based on that.
Connect one very short and thick wire from one channel's star ground point to the other one.
You'll have to join the two boards close toguether.
Then connect the ground wire from the PSU to the middle of that thick ground wire.
Then fire it up and see what happens.
