Hi All, I orginally posted this in the AmpChipDIY forum but no one seems to be going to the new AmpChipDIY forum...

This question is for Thorst ... er, I mean Kuei or anyone else who would like to chime in.

I like the dual transformer per channel concept and would like to give it a try.

I would also like to experiment with bi amping.

Right now I only have enough $$$ for four transformers.

So the question is: can I use a dual primary, dual 48 V secondary transformer in 230 V mode (instead of 115 V mode, I'm in Canada) to get a dual 24 V output? Would this provide any advantages/disadvantages (flux, wire guage, inductance, etc...)?

This way I could use the 4 transformers for 2 channels of dual-trans-per-channel gainclone and also use them for 4 channels of single-trans-per-channel gainclone (for biamping).

I could kill four birds with one stone!

Thanks for your help,
Jeff
