Ok, in my opinion Toshiba chips like TA8221 or TA8233 etc are best chip amplifiers and beats gainclones and even my Acuuphase P500 :)

I was not sure what was the difference in specs between TA8221 and TA8233, as they look very similar?
Have you built amps with both?

I am looking to build an amp to power my Zu Audio Druid speakers which have a nominal impedance of 12 ohms and are 101 Db/W efficient, so power output requirement is not large.

@bra - Did you use a PCB for your amp?

I found this:
iFanTech
Looks suitable for a TA8221, could someone please confirm?

Their Design is based on ta8210 or equivalent kia6210.
When you look at The datasheets of ta8221 ta8210 ta8205 you see they are almost same.
Ta8221 datasheet shows power For 2ohm stable.but ta8210 datasheet you can't see 2ohm power spec. But I think if you use battery you can power 2ohm speaker without any problem with ta8210.
Probably you can use all of ta8205 ta8210 ta8215 ta8221 in The same circuit..
I have old ifantech pcb.It has pop noise problem at turn on/off.
Maybe they choose better values For their new pcb's.
Right now I am trying to do build Dual mono with one of these chips.
Only problem I have pop noise at turn on/off.
