I just bought two audio amp kits that use the telefunken clone of the TDA 2822 chip. Now its a single supply kit, that i want to use for powering a set of headphones.
Does anyone know if i can convert it to dual rail? I plan on using a regulated -+ 5 volt supply to power them, as i dont need much power for headphones. I really dont want to have to use a coupling cap for input and output, and the only way to do that is use dual rail. Thanks. |

The TDA2822 will work from a split supply. Although a single supply implementation with AC coupled in- and outputs will probably lead to the same result.
