Default Which trafo option for LM3875?

This would be for stereo LM3875:

Option 1: two PSU boards powered by two 21V-0-21V 80VA toroids (one per PSU).

Option 2: one PSU board powered by one 2x21.5V 2.7A

Which option is better? I am leaning toward option #2 as the space in the case is pretty tight. Option #1 would work but it would require major thinking when it comes to part placing and wiring.

Also, am I correct in my math that the two options are only 0.5A different (converting VA to A)?

Thanks.

I have the aluminum case all cleaned and I do not want to get more trafos. I want to stick to what I already have. Wife already thinks I am crazy collecting all the electronic parts :-)

I think you are saying you have two 80VA transformers, two PSUs, two amplifiers, one chassis.

You are one chassis away from dual monoblock amplifiers.
I expect monoblock to perform better than option 1 and option .

What about just staying with the listed options? Which one would work better?
