want to build aSub woofer amp for eminence lab 12 6ohm driver. plz help me. also want a good filter.

Is that sub for a PA system?

Aside from the 6 ohm load impedance, what are your specs? Desired power? Cross-over frequency? Want adjustability on that?

Something like this could be a good filter.

what is mean by PA system. I just want it to connect to my PC. Also Iam not an expert in electronics......

This one is a simple and best Sub filter. I had made a pcb for the same here. i can send u the PCB track layout that u can make at home.
And as far amplifier is concerned u can go for lm3886 or TDA7294(this one is easily available in india for ~100 Rs.)

As per my knowledge,

In subwoofer sound wave quantity first, and than quality. subwoofer job is creating thrill in movies/music. For that, lot-off cone movement is required. To lift the cone (12" driver) TDA7294 (60watt approx) may not be sufficient. My idea is you have already purchased eminence lab 12 6ohm driver then noting wrong to try for TDA7294 bridge. Amps cost should not be more than Rs.300.00. Project68 may be good amp for running such a driver.

Hey, if you are new with electronics, i'll suggest Sub-Woofer Controller - for filter, its pretty simple , u can make the circuit on a general purpose PCB with in a budget of 60 Rs
and a chipamp based power amp...
Rod Elliott 300 W sub amplifier is a pretty big project. and with lm3886 or TDA7294, u can get easily >100 Watts power. (with 7294 u can get 100 Watts RMS)
