I didn't find any threads on this specifically, so I am throwing this question out there...
There are lots and lots of Sanyo STK chips out there with a wide range of power levels. Mostly they need to be used with 8 ohm impedances, and don't have top notch performance, but all in all they are not bad and seem to be pretty straightforward to implement. So the question is, how does one create an amp: have a custom PC board made or try to wire point to point, use perf board, etc? Can anyone speak about their experiences using the STK chips? -Charlie |

Greetings, I have used a few of these before, actually my first 'chipamp' was a stk4141, I used the pcb design in the data sheet and it worked okay. check out the link for datasheets for various ic's

Hi Charlie
For initial testing, I use perf boards. Below are 2 STK chips I tested. One is a STK4050V (200W/8 ohms) and the other a STK442-130, a 2-channel, 150W/6 ohms power ic. Regards Mike
